Here are answers to the most common questions about Marked: how the Secret Santa draw works, group size, accounts, birthday reminders, wishlists, family and company calendars, privacy and when the iPhone and Android apps arrive.

When will the iPhone and Android apps be available?
Soon. In the meantime, the web app works on any phone or computer at app.trymarked.com.
Do I need an account to use Marked?
Yes. Everyone needs a Marked account, including people who join a Secret Santa.
How many people can join a Secret Santa?
Up to 50 per exchange.
How do people join a Secret Santa room?
The organizer shares a 5-character join code or an invite link. People sign in with their Marked account and join the room.
Can people add wishlists and shipping addresses?
Yes. Each person can add a wishlist and a shipping address in the room, so no one's guessing and mailing is easy. Marked doesn't buy or ship gifts for you.
Can the host control who's in a Secret Santa room?
Yes. The host can lock joining and remove members. Repeated wrong join codes trigger a lockout, which helps keep rooms private.
Can I add pets?
Yes. Pets get birthdays and profiles too.
Which holidays are included?
US holidays plus Christian and Catholic holidays, built right into the calendar.
How do reminders work?
Marked shows reminders in the app ahead of birthdays, anniversaries and other dates. Push notifications aren't available yet.
Can I share my calendar with family?
Yes. Family calendars can be shared with view or edit access, so everyone sees the birthdays and occasions coming up.
How do company calendars work?
An organizer invites employees by code. Employees see company events and team birthdays and work anniversaries, and birth years can be hidden. Employees have view-only access.
Is my information private?
We use your information to run Marked, and we don't sell it. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Profile > Delete account, or by request at trymarked.com/delete-account.
